Since establishing ARCHADIA STUDIOS in 2020, WISDOM KOFI AFEDZI has built a dynamic team of designers who are inspired by the intersection of technology, aesthetics and functionality. The practice has a studio in Accra, Munich and Winnipeg and has worked on projects globally. The practice’s most notable project to date is design and construction of the the Michael Blackson Academy for ace American comedian Michael Blackson which became a trending social media sensation worldwide when it was commissioned 3 rd January 2023. This project shot the young social architect and team Archadia into the limelight in the Ghanaian and diaspora circles. Wisdom Afedzi has worked on the acoustic detailing for the National cathedral of Ghana designed by the renowned Sir David Adjaye OBE which is still under construction.
In addition to Michael Blackson Academy, selected completed works include: TP Homes, GMA Head Office construction, Accra Academy Guesthouse and the Crystal Bay Resort master planning.
Today, the portfolio continues to expand with exciting projects including: Bucolic enclave, GETfund office complex, Hillview hotel, Toni Residence, Project Azura, and Onyx Teaching Hospital by Kristo Asafo.
The firm has received recognition for its innovative designs and contributions to the design industry. Wisdom Afedzi and Complete Properties Solution was awarded the fastest growing Real Estate company by the Ghana properties Award (2022), which recognizes the best in design and real estate space. Archadia has received several citations for community services rendered in the field of architecture and construction from several institutions including Ghafes, GETfund, Michael Blackson foundation, Ghana Tourism Authority among others.
